hi! i'm back....
I'm looking for plan to build my own system.
I'd like to find plans of bass, mid and treble boxes.

do you know where to find this.?

i was asked the same thing a few months back by mail and at that time couldn't find any really helpful sites on the net. i'll ask that person again now to see whether they have allready found something..

it is a good beginning, but the plans are very "light"

king shiloh sound system has great boxes, especially the bass one. kind of "double scoop bin" :

I'm just thinking that a friend of mine can maybe help me.

these speakers look the way they should...
but look carefully at this picture:

the bass boxes are not like we use to see. it's a kind of double scoop bin up and down the big speaker. incredible.

in the dancetech website, find the "PA STUFF" section. there is plans to build boxes.

Give this BBC radio one broadcast a listen if you like. Its a very good verbal history of sound systems and dub in both JA and the UK.

scoop boxes deliver a lot of power, but are quite big in physical size. A better alternative is the
sol called eliminator. An original design by Electro Voice, a lot of building plans can be found on the web. Smaller size, about as much power with the same
drivers using the w-bin folded horn principle

dubbin is a must
