Hello I just bought a Roland Space Echo 201 off of ebay. The seller assures me it is in good working condition, but the unit needs tape. I've seen people say that you can use 8 track tape and make your own. When threading the space echo do you actually just thread the tape over rollers inside the unit? Do you need a special cassette? Any URL's that you can recommend to get me started?

Thanks

you do not need any special cassette, just make a tapeloop, the length is not important. the cut should not be eee... straight vertical, but rather diagonal to avoid clicks... I mean not this way .._I , but this way .._\ (I should improve my english ;)
