Please help!

Author Message   Starry Posted on Wednesday, July 09, 2003 - 03:19 am:    Sorry to post again, I am going to look at a studiomaster mixdown 16:8:2 in the next few days( 'bout 10 years old), but have been told that it will be very noisy, and no good for "modern recording", while others have said that they are really nice old desks with good british EQ and decent pre-amps. how noisy are these desks? would I be better off saving for a soundcraft?? Please help, I do not want to make a big mistake buying the studiomaster desk.
