a saw a net-wire, pulled, and sudden
stood with a old roland DC-50 digital-
chorus that fits my space-echos, only
done a little testing, but noticed
that they are sold seccond-hand for
500 euro, should i be happy, what are
the forces of this unit ?

nice find..

here is a link to some reviews at HarmonyCentral
and a description + review at effectsdatabase.com

The second review at effectsdatabase says it's a good chorus for bass due to it's clean sound. analog choruses seem to be warmer but tend to turn bass into mud.

yes thats it :) ,... the chorus is "light"
and air-like, the hall is also not to the
"heavy" side, maybe becourse its early 12
bit digital or so, they might have choosen
a moderate expression, however a nice and
noisy self-repeating sound apears when the
revearb is pushed hard,.. :-)))

the chorus is strange, turns a clean piano
into a detuned wild-west salon-piano :-)

Delay-lenght being fixed sucks the most

The chorus is very special, the delay/hall
is most interesting as special effect when
pushed into into self-oscillation

If for 500 euro I would definately sell :-)

Guess an emulator-x / 1820m would improve
my sonic arsenal way better LOL

HM, this is really more like a museam item than 'useful' gear. And the price on it will go up as time goes by :).... but you keep it rather under the glass hood, than being plugged somewhere in your production studio ... ;-)

Yes I agree, but i sure looks good when
I make a stack with RE-201, RE-150, DC-50,
and spring-king on the top :-) ,... ha ha

throwing things out is cool I discovered,
feels like I owns the gear, not oposite,
however this one might be sold,... later

my advice : open it up and see if you can find plastic screws used by services technicians .You can make it sound way better .I always do that with analog gear ( e1005 /stage echo / vintage synths ) .i even put an external pot on an old casio keyboard to turn off the hihats on the drum presets .of course be careful not to f### it .

Thanks for the advice, hopefully time would
allow Me some day to try this, right now the
new computers consumes all time left, and I
am still not nearly done :-) , but hope for
3-5 year´s peace after this build,.......
