dear dub heads again we had hundreds of automatically generated spam messages posted on this board within few hours. it seems spam bots are becoming available to a broader range of users - while some are using these programs to promote their dubious business others just seem to make trial runs. i already made it a habit over the last few months to stop spam attacks by setting up filter rules but i can't cope with the current rate of spam posts. it was therefore necessary to disable posting of new messages until a solution to the problem is found. i'm now considering an upgrade to a paid version of the board software with anti-spam features and user self-registration.
