this is the one on most of the 80s digi stuff , the dx21 also has this preset . you can also get the dump files from these synths and load them into fm8 native instruments.

i think it from a yamaha rx5 or rx7 not sure which one but defiantly one of the rx series . hope that helps

sounds like phaser and eq to me , try eqin the highs of the piano quite alot and stick a phaser on it , make sure you turn the piano down abit tho cus itl be loud

yea i also use this effect on high hats , give it a decent amount of boost and a medium q , then automae it to sweep about , get that whooosh woosh noise!

ez all iv just been searching for information on this subject im really new to it. i use logic pro and do everything in the box at the moment but i want to be able to do 'live' mixes and incorporate analog fx into it . could any one giv me a breakdown of the gear i actually need to gaet ??? cheers

i agree its definatly not essential , but i do think it can help you dissolve into the music and notice things you might not usually.
as far producing dub i found when im stoned i sit fiddling with one knob for about three hours and not getting anything done! so i try avoid it in the studio

'Firehouse sound' have sum quality digital reggae mixtapes , 3 in total named 'mastermind computer style'. All killers no fillers!! a quick google search and your sure to find em.
