"kick the amp" effect

i assume you refer to the thundering noise that can be heard when the reverb springs inside a guitar amp clash together, right? i haven't heard of an amp emulation which does that. so you should just look for some "kick the amp" samples. also see <a href="http://www.interruptor.ch/cgi-bin/discu ... html">this discussion</a> for more details.
