Making Crash DSP Reverb (reverb + feedback)
When mixing at 12h... i have make beautifuly crash my snare with my "2024 Virtulazier DSP Pro"...
I have sweeped up the snare on the eq on the input of my aux send. I have put the aux return of the reverb in to the aux send, but not too loud (it's make an infinite loop so too loud it's crash with the noise of my connection). After that when i send the snare in the reverb it's make Thunder!!! not like the king... but that's sound great!

I don't know if it work with all over reverb dsp/plugin...

and i have just try this one time so...

Jah Bless,
KoCha

I have try this an other time, and i have found that :
It's important to modif the middle eq in the reverb loop.
And make the loop close at the same time you send the snare in the reverb.
Don't let the loop close too long... (it's sound crapy).

I think the freq you boost in the loop is amplified every time the sound pass thru the reverb. After some ms, the freq sature...

Jah Bless,
KoCha

Making Crash DSP Reverb (reverb + feedback)
yeah.. this technique is well known. check the paragraph "Reverb effect with a feedback loop" on the effects page where yaniko described the exact same thing. it also works great to boost the mid/high frequencies in the feedback loop of a tape delay.

respect
the interruptor
