hi! <BR> <BR>i'm dubbing on pc... (reason, cubase, etc...) <BR> <BR>I want to make that "DUB BEEP" sound you all are familiar with (used on the begining of many, many songs)... <BR> <BR>does anybody know how? <BR> <BR>thanks!
I think it started off as the test tone found on some mixing desks, but Dub Siren! Have a look on this site for dub siren (theres a section for it in instruments) - there's also a free VST of one on the main page made by the Interruptor himself.
here's the <A HREF="http://www.interruptor.ch/vst_overview.shtml">link to the free vst-plugs</A> <BR> <BR>"Dub Siren" will be handy for the beep and the echoes. Too make it sound like on old dubs you need to apply some reverb too. (Look for a vintage sounding reverb sound, not the super hifi / extra wide stereo variety..)
