Just getting into some dub records and looking for stuff that sounds like the Massive Attach vs. Mad Professor type of sound. I have some old Mad Professor stuff but that massive attack/mad professor album is amazing.
Thanks.

That's a difficult one because the Massive Attack/Mad Professor album ("No Protection") is a pretty unique affair. At least half of the tracks have little to do with dub except for some Mad Prof effects.
Other albums of that time which I liked a lot and which have a somewhat similar vibe are:
Transglobal Underground - Psychic Karaoke
Funki Porcini - Hed Phone Sex
Manasseh meets the Equalizer - Shining

The album mentioned by ion5 is actually called "Rhythm Collision". Samples can be heard over here:

So true Interruptor, I think it's impossible to find what your looking for...interruptor wrote:That's a difficult one because the Massive Attack/Mad Professor album ("No Protection") is a pretty unique affair.
No Protection is really a unique production, even Massive Attack is inimitable.... this album isn't really dub, it's more than dub
Try to ask Mad Professor to remix Portishead or Shunk Anesis
