Delay time
Hey, I really dig this plugin. I first tried it on my old computer with windows xp. I Have a new one now that shipped with xp. To make sure I could run my old plugz, I degraded to xp. Now when i try the old presets in the new box, it's just impossible to get the delay times right.
Could it be because I'm now on a SATA disc drive?

Ok, so I tried it again, this time creating a new project (Ableton live), and it works fine.
I Still don´t understand though why opening old ableton live projects on the new box doesn´t work right. The same thing happened when I tried to open them on a friends computer who also downgraded from vista to XP.
Anyway, I really like this plugin and will use it for future live sets.
Right now I'm working on our first EP, soon on www.myspace.com/champagnenreefers
One love

Nope, still on the same version...
Not a big problem though since I will make new sets.
Thank you for feedback and encouragement!

Hi,
The plug is great, but the pitch is changing when you tap a new tempo, can this be fixed?
The ping pong could use a touch IMO - in order to hear enough of the right side (after the left put out the first delay), you have to feedback a lot. I don't how it's made in units like the TC D-Two, but you can have more ping pong in there without loading the mix too much.
Anyway, great work, man.
Thanks
Adam

Hi Adam
The pitch changing happens because I intentionally smoothed out the delay time switch-over. The amount of smoothing can be set using the "SMOOTH TRANSITION" control. As far as I remember it's not possible to completely eliminate the smoothing because that would result in ugly digital clicks.
In fact the idea was to emulate the behaviour of a tape delay. These do pitch shifts when the delay time is changed by increasing or decreasing the tape motor speed.
Regarding the ping pong intensity I will have a close look when updating the plug-in the next time. (If I will ever get a chance to do that..)

EchoLive version 1.1 is now ready for download.
Changes:
- Rebuilt with the current version of Synthedit. This should solve the problems some people have been experiencing in WIN7.
