anybody ever heard of a Roland DC-20 analog echo machine - not tape? I can get it for 60$ is it worth it? any help would be appreciated. The only stuff I could find on the web were these two pages: http://member.nifty.ne.jp/M-JI/INST_ad.html http://www.effectsdatabase.com/model/1179/ thanks |

i own a boss rx-100 which is a spring unit seemingly from the same product line as the dc-20 -->link these devices seem to be aimed more at guitarists than for studio use. on both machines you don't have a wet/dry control which is annoying if you want to use it as an auxiliary effect with your mixing desk: it is not possible to mute the clean signal - you will always get the original signal on the return path plus an adjustable amount of effect signal. if you don't find another dubhead who can tell you about it's sound & "dubability" i would definately recommend to try out the device yourself before buying it. (never trust a guitarrist.. ) peace The Interruptor |
