I've just come across a free vst recreation of a Space Echo: http://device.antisound.net/files/arcdev_dubbox.exe I've never used a Space Echo, but I think this probably comes somewhat close. Even if it doesn't its still rather good. Overall it has a heavy and warm sound. I like the the warm distortion it produces when you overload the input. There's other delays on the site, I haven't checked them out yet. http://device.antisound.net/?section=sig_mod |

it doesnt sound like the real thing [of course] but it does sound like a convincing immitation. i actually really love this thing because you can tweak the delay speed in real time to get the cool pitch shifting effect. i had the use of a korg stage echo for a while and i can say this vst does a fair job of emulating that sound. |
