Please Help.

I am totally new to tape echos and just purchased a Hohner tape echo in great condition but with no tape or spindle. I was told that Quantegy 642 or sony endless tape would work but I have no idea how long the loop needs to be or even the proper way to install/route it. I saw from your postings that a few of you guys own one. Can you help me out?
